Industrial /Technical North East Regional Sales Representative (Pittsburgh Area)

The successful candidate will demonstrate an enthusiastic, outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. Strong technical or mechanical aptitude is a plus.

BASIC FUNCTIONS

Develops and maintains extensive customer contact to efficiently facilitate sales levels of pumping units that are appropriate for market activity for LUFKIN's Oilfield Division.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited University required; Oilfield experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. and to apply mathematical concepts.
  • Regional travel required upon assignment

EHS Regional Manager (Eastern US Region)

A Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Manager position is currently open in the Eastern U.S. region. This is a full time, salary position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Insure that all EHS policies and procedures are followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA, EPA, and equivalent rules and regulations.
  • Inspects facilities to detect existing or potential safety non-compliance issues and initiates corrective action and/or preventive measures.
  • Manage LUFKIN’s drug testing programs.
  • Respond to and investigate accidents and injuries. Manage the appropriate medical care for injured employees. Prepare reports for organization use in hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.
  • Responsible for training programs or media, which will increase proficiency in safe practices and promote safety and environmental consciousness. Prepare and arrange safety material for display, promotional work, industry conferences, and exhibitions.
  • Respond to customer demands or requirements relating to EHS issues.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and State & Federal DOT regulations.
  • Serve as a Corporate Human Resources representative for various HR, legal, real estate, and security functions.
  • Represent the organization in community or industry safety groups and programs.
  • Other related projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or seven to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Emergency medical experience beneficial.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals and legal documents and to communicate information from them relating to environmental, health, and safety issues to a wide range of employees throughout Lufkin Industries, Inc.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
